Wessex Grain is committed to adding value for its farmers by exploring new market opportunities. We have a strong policy of investing in companies operating in related markets which we believe will add value for our growers.

In June 2005 we founded a new company, called Green Spirit Fuels, to develop our interest in biofuels. Planning permission was obtained in January 2006 to construct a bioethanol plant adjacent to our Henstridge premises.
